TOKYO: The organising committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 has shortlisted three mascot design sets for the the next Summer Olympics.
Each design set contains one mascot for the Olympic Games and one for the Paralympic Games. In all, the mascot selection panel reviewed 2,042 entries, submitted by the public as part of an open competition.

TOKYO: The Musashino Forest Sport Plaza, a new permanent venue to be used during the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, has officially opened to the public.
With respectively 970 days and 1,002 days to go until the opening of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the delivery of this first new permanent venue means Tokyo's preparations are well on track.
