MUMBAI: Sony Sports Network on Tuesday announced the extension of its collaboration with UEFA for all Europe's national team competitions up to 2028. 

This gives the network exclusive media rights for the 2024 and 2028 editions of UEFA EURO, along with its European qualifiers and friendly matches.

The UEFA tournaments will be available exclusively on both linear television in the Indian subcontinent, including India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka, as well as live-streamed on their on-demand OTT platform SonyLIV.

MEMPHIS, Tenn.: FedEx Corp. and UEFA have signed a three-year agreement in which FedEx will sponsor the UEFA Champions League, commencing at the start of the 2021/22 tournament and extending for three editions through to 2023/24.  The agreement also includes sponsorship rights for the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League finals, the UEFA Champions League Futsal finals and UEFA eChampions League.

NYON, Switzerland: The UEFA executive committee met via videoconference and was informed of the confirmation given by local authorities that all four UEFA EURO 2020 matches in Munich will be able to welcome a minimum of 14,500 spectators. Munich was therefore confirmed as a host venue for the championship.

The reforms come after an extensive consultation across the football family and received unanimous backing from the ECA Board and the UEFA Club Competitions Committee (made of a majority of club representatives) last Friday.

NYON, Switzerland: The UEFA executive committee Tuesday decided to cancel the 2021 UEFA Women’s and Men’s Under-19 Championships due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on the staging of competitions. In making these decisions, the UEFA EC took note that, with the government restrictions currently in place, the travelling of teams and staging of mini-tournaments would prove very difficult.

The tender process, led by TEAM Marketing AG, UEFA’s official marketing agency, has set a first-round bid deadline of March 16 (10 AM CET).

NYON, Switzerland: UEFA announced on Wednesday that the digital entertainment platform TikTok will be a global sponsor of Euro 2020. As an official platform, “TikTok will provide a place where soccer fans can follow their favorite creators, share the best soccer content on TikTok and create their own special moments, capturing reactions and celebrations around the tournament,” UEFA announced in a statement.
