Plans on anvil for 6-team women's IPL from 2023 August: Report

MUMBAI: The BCCI is reportedly planning to start its long-awaited women’s IPL from next year onwards with the board working on plans on number of teams and appropriate window for the event. 

The board is reportedly exploring plans to organise the tournament in August next year and is expected to make an official annoucnement soon.

Women’s IPL feasibility in 2023 on GC meeting agenda: report
MUMBAI: The feasibility of a full-fledged women’s IPL from next year will reportedly be discussed when the governing council meets here Friday. “The matter will be discussed in the governing council and a plan of action will be decided,” a BCCI official told Indian Express.
