LAUSANNE, Switzerland: Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (SPN) will retain media rights to broadcast major international archery events on its sports channels as well as livestream it on its premium OTT platform SonyLIV across the Indian subcontinent until the end of 2023. 

The network has extended its deal with World Archery, financial terms for which were not disclosed, for two seasons.

NEW DELHI: World Archery (WA), the global governing body of the sport, will send a delegation led by its secretary general Tom Dielen to India next week to meet the newly-elected officials of the Archery Association of India (AAI), Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and the Sports Ministry, Press Trust of India reports. An AAI source said that Dielen has been invited by the AAI president BVP Rao for the visit.
