NEW DELHI: The roadmap for the Hero Indian Super League, laid out September 2020, wherein relegation and promotion is to be introduced from the 2024-25 season, and leading up to that, the Hero I-League winners will get “direct slots” in the ISL from the 2023-2024 season, remains on track, All India Football Federation (AIFF) general secretary Kushal Das said on Monday.
Das said there is no deviation from the road map on Indian football’s domestic structure drawn up by the AIFF in 2019 after consultation with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
