NEW DELHI: The World Boxing Council, its board of governors, and WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman Thursday announced the formation of the WBC India committee, in collaboration with the Indian Boxing Council, as the WBC’s strategic governing body and ally in India.
It bears noting that the governing body of the sport in India, as recognised by the Union Sports Ministry, is the Boxing Federation of India.
