MUMBAI: Dream Sports-owned FanCode, which holds the India terrritory media rights – streaming and broadcast – of Cricket West Indies (CWI) till 2024, has part sublicensed digital rights for the upcoming India vs West Indies series to Reliance-controlled Viacom18.

As was done for the just concluded 2023 edition of the TATA Indian Premier League, the media conglomerate will be streaming the series for free on JioCinema.

June 24: US-based investment firm 27th Investments-backed 27th Sports announces its association with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) as the official media and ground rights partner for the AVR Pay Cup three-match T20 International series between India Women and Sri Lanka Women. MUMBAI: Leading Indian digital sports content platform FanCode has acquired the exclusive broadcast rights for the Meiji Yasuda J1League in the Indian subcontinent. The media rights deal that Dream Sports-owned FanCode has struck, financial terms for which were not disclosed, sees big league international football make a comeback on the platform.

MUMBAI: FanCode has appointed Nirmal Shah as head of monetization.  Shah joins the Dream Sports-owned digital first platform from SonyLiv, the OTT service of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), where he worked for over five years.  Prior to his stint at SPNI, Shah was with Network18 Media & Investments Limited as national sales head.
