LOS GATOS, California: Netflix is taking the template that produced the international hit series - Formula 1: Drive to Survive - onto the tennis courts.

For the first time, fans will be able to share in a year in the life of some of the world’s best tennis players as they journey around the world, seeking to win on the sport’s biggest stages.   

To bring this unique immersive documentary series to the screen, Netflix has teamed up with the four Grand Slam tournaments, the ATP Tour, WTA Tour, and ATP Media beginning with the 2022 season at the Australian Open.

LONDON: The ATP has announced a six-week suspension of the men’s professional tennis tour due to escalating health and safety issues arising from the global outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus). The suspension means all ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour events scheduled up to and inclusive of the week of April 20 will not take place.

LONDON: After just two years, the Laver Cup, which is primarily owned by tennis royal Roger Federer and his agency TEAM8 (in which his long time agent Tony Godsick, is president and CEO), has been declared an official part of the annual ATP Tour calendar.   The Laver Cup is an annual men's team event in which Europe takes on the rest of the world and launched by Federer and TEAM8 in 2017.
