NEW DELHI: The Women’s Golf Association of India, which has been running the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour for more than a decade, were given the honour of supporting and helping to stage the first-ever LET Pre-qualifiers in Asia ahead of the Tour’s final Qualifier for the 2023 season.

It will be a big boost for Asian women golfers as they will not need to travel to Europe to seek an opportunity to play the LET final qualifiers. The final qualifiers will have cards available for the main Tour as also opportunities to the LET Access for those who don’t make it to the main Tour.

Hero Women’s Indian Open marks 10th LET anniv NEW DELHI: The Hero Women’s Indian Open - the biggest professional women’s golf event in the country - is set to enter its 10th year on the Ladies European Tour with the 2019 edition. The Hero Women’s Indian Open 2019 is set to be held at the Gary Player layout of the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram from October 3 – 6, 2019.

HOSUR, Tamil Nadu: The Women’s Golf Association of India enters a new era with its first domestic Rs 1 million event as the number of professionals in the fray rises to 26 alongside three amateurs for the seventh leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour. This is the largest field assembled at the fledgling domestic Hero WGAI Tour. The purse also rises to an all-time high of Rs 1 million for a domestic event.
