LAUSANNE: Milan-Cortina, Italy, will host the Olympic Winter Games 2026. The decision was taken Monday during the 134th Session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) here. The other candidate in the ballot was Stockholm-Åre, Sweden.
Out of 81 valid votes balloted, the Italian city won 47 as against 34 polled by the Swedish capital.
