SYDNEY: FIFA has confirmed that the host cities for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand will be announced on Wednesday.  Following an eight-month review process involving each of the 12 candidate host cities and 13 stadiums, FIFA is set to announce which cities will host matches for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.

ZURICH: In light of the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic is having around the world and the postponement of the FIFA Council meeting that was foreseen to take place in early June in Addis Ababa, FIFA has confirmed to the bidding member associations that the selection of the host(s) of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 by the FIFA Council will be made at its meeting to be held online on 25 June.

ZURICH: FIFA has confirmed that it has received bids from Brazil, Japan, Colombia and a joint bid from Australia and New Zealand to host the 2023 Women’s World Cup. The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 bidding process has seen unprecedented interest with four submitted by the deadline of 13 December.
