Sports broadcast technology provider Deltatre has hired former Reliance-backed JioSaavn executive Meetal Shah as its country manager to spearhead expansion in India.

The appointment follows after the acquisition of the business by Bain Capital and Nextalia SGR in June 2022.

Deltatre launched its India operation in 2015 and having already worked with the likes of the Hero Indian Super League, Star Sports and Sony Pictures Networks India, is looking to significantly expand its presence in the region over the next 18 months.

MUNICH: Deltatre and DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga have extended their Sportec Solutions collaboration and will now bring its offering to the international market.  As part of a renewed agreement, the sports and entertainment technology provider has also taken the majority shareholding in Sportec Solutions, the independent joint venture between Deltatre and the DFL.
