Delhi-based Omaxe Ltd announced Monday that the realty firm's wholly owned subsidiary and SPV - Worldstreet Sports Center - will be developing India's first integrated multi sports facility consisting of an international cricket and football stadium, an indoor stadium along with a retail and hospitality hub spread across an area of 50.40 acres in Delhi's Dwarka area for around Rs 1,500 crore ($180 million). 

The cost of construction will be funded through internal accruals and the company is expecting a revenue of around Rs 2,500 crore through the sale of retail units.

MUMBAI: The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) will be holding the player auction for its seventh season in the city from 8-9 April this year. The league has confirmed that it is set to return to its previous start month of July for the coming season as well as the succeeding one in 2020.

MUMBAI: The VIVO Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 6 is set to end on Monday as Bengaluru Bulls take on Gujarat FortuneGiants in the final at the National Sports Club of India, Mumbai. The total prize money this season, adds up to Rs 80 million. The winners of the final will take home Rs 30 million, while the finalists will settle for Rs 18 million.

HYDERABAD: Star India Wednesday announced the launch of its third regional sports channel - Star Sports 1 Telugu.  The network confirmed that Star Sports 1 Telugu will go live on Friday, 7th December, and will be available on leading DTH and Cable Operators across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as well as the rest of India.  The sportscaster has been testing the channel on AsiaSat 7 at 105 East.
