Bengaluru FC to team up with Scotland's Rangers: Report

BENGALURU: Indian Super League title holders Bengaluru FC have reportedly signed a partnership agreement with Scottish club Rangers FC. 

The deal will see exchange programs, pre-season training for the Indian side and also helping to improve the youth development standards of Bengaluru FC, khelnow.com reports.

With the partnership, the Blues now have the privilege to organise their pre-season in Scotland and the European club will also put invaluable technical expertise for the grassroots development. The exchange programmes will help young talents to avail facilities and training methods in Scotland. 

Rangers FC is the most successful club in Scotland having won the league title for a record 54 times along with 33 Scottish Cups. The deal will benefit Bengaluru FC will immensely from the technical point of view.

Former I-League champions Minerva Punjab FC has tied a partnership with German side Borussia Monchengladbach aiming to improve the youth development structure. Meanwhile, Jamshedpur FC has also linked with Spanish club Atletico Madrid earlier this year.
