Olympic AI agenda - to lead global implementation within sport

The International Olympic Committee Friday launched the Olympic AI Agenda. The initiative was introduced during an interactive event held at Lee Valley VeloPark at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home of the Olympic and Paralympic Games London 2012.

The Olympic AI Agenda is the third in a trilogy of strategy documents launched under the leadership of IOC president Thomas Bach. It follows Olympic Agenda 2020, launched in December 2014, and Olympic Agenda 2020+5, launched in March 2021.

IOC elects 2 V-Ps, 2 EB members, 5 members
LAUSANNE: The 136th Session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the first-ever Session to be held by videoconference, elected John D. Coates and Ser Miang Ng as vice-presidents, and Mrs Mikaela Cojuangco Jaworski and Gerardo Werthein as members of the IOC executive board (EB).  The Session also elected five new IOC members following the proposal of the EB on 10 June.

Olympic Agenda 2020 cuts candidature budgets by 80%
LAUSANNE: Independently audited accounts of the Candidature Process for the Olympic Winter Games 2026 show the average budget was less than $5 million compared to approximately $35 million in the previous process for the Olympic Winter Games 2022.
