The International Olympic Committee Friday launched the Olympic AI Agenda. The initiative was introduced during an interactive event held at Lee Valley VeloPark at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home of the Olympic and Paralympic Games London 2012.

The Olympic AI Agenda is the third in a trilogy of strategy documents launched under the leadership of IOC president Thomas Bach. It follows Olympic Agenda 2020, launched in December 2014, and Olympic Agenda 2020+5, launched in March 2021.

LAUSANNE: The IOC Session Wednesday took note of a new set of guiding principles regarding commercial opportunities for participants during the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, which were approved last week by the IOC executive board. The Session itself decided on a change to Bye-law 3 of Rule 40 of the Olympic Charter.

NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday submitted a formal bid to the International Olympic Committee to host its 2023 session in Mumbai. On the sidelines of the IOC's 134th session, Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president Narinder Batra and IOC member Nita Ambani proposed to host the 2023 session, ANI reports. It is expected that India will choose Mumbai as the host city for the 2030 Winter Olympics.

LAUSANNE: The International Olympic Committee (IOC), The Coca-Cola Company and China Mengniu Dairy Company Ltd Monday announced that they have signed the first-ever Joint TOP Partnership Agreement. The partnership combines the non-alcoholic beverage and the dairy categories into a new joint category, and brings Chinese dairy company Mengniu into the family of Worldwide TOP Partners.

LOS ANGELES: The Oscars will take place in late February in 2021 and 2022 to accommodate the Olympics, Super Bowl and other events, organizers said on Tuesday. The 92nd Oscars is set for February 9 2020, but the following years, the Oscars will be on February 28, 2021 and February 27, 2022, the final Sundays of the month.
