NEW DELHI: The Chinese government is all set to pass a law in the near future that will make doping a criminal offence, and athletes found to have broken the law will receive criminal punishments and jail terms, the state-run news agency Xinhua reports.

This also asserts China’s stance on the issue, having also decided to strip off athletes from medals won at international events if they are found guilty of doping.

NEW DELHI: The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has targeted tennis for the first time in India as it collected samples from nearly 20 players participating in the ongoing National Tennis Championships in the capital city, Press Trust of India reports.

NEW DELHI: India continues to remain amongst the top 10 nations when it comes to doping violations as per the latest report of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The samples on which the report is based were collected in 2016. The country has had 69 anti-doping rule violations (ADRV), the same as that of Russia, which has been under international scrutiny for years now, PTI reports.
