Italian Serie A side Inter Milan and LaLiga club Atletico Madrid have seen the writing on the wall, following the lead provided by Premier League clubs Tuesday to announce on Wednesday their intention to walk away from the fast disintegrating European Super League.

On Sunday, 12 of Europe's elite clubs were named as founding members of the breakaway project, designed to rival the UEFA Champions League.

This is a new world record in women’s club football history, which was helped by the fact that the stadium has a capacity of 68,000.

NEW DELHI: Tata Trusts on Wednesday joined hands with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid (ATM) to enhance and strengthen the Spanish club’s existing program for promoting Indian football, Press Trust of India reports. As part of the deal, the Tata Football Academy (TFA) in Jamshedpur is all set to be renamed as ‘Tata Atletico Football Academia’.

MADRID: La Liga heavyweights Atletico Madrid have announced that it will sport the logo of ‘Save the Children’ on its back of its jerseys for all its matches in UEFA competitions. The Spanish club had done the same during its UEFA Super Cup match in Estonia back in August in which they had defeated city rivals Real Madrid.

KOLKATA: LaLiga heavyweights Atletico Madrid are likely to enter into an alliance with Jamshedpur FC, the Indian Super League (ISL) team owned by Tata Steel after it recently appointed Cesar Ferrando as the club’s new head coach, Hindustan Times reports.  The 58-year-old Spaniard coached Atletico in the past during the 2004-05 season.

MADRID: Hyundai Motor, the South Korean automobile manufacturer has expanded its list of sponsoring football properties around the world further by signing a 3-year deal with La Liga heavyweights, Atlético Madrid. As per the deal, Hyundai’s logo will be seen on the left sleeve of Atletico’s men’s and women’s team jerseys in all competitions it will feature in.
