There is reportedly a 51% decline in the number of advertisers on TV during the first 19 matches of TATA IPL 2023 as compared to IPL 2022.

The first 19 matches of IPL 2023 saw 35 advertisers on television as against 72 after the same number of games in 2022, reports Best Media Info, referencing BARC India data for Week 15.

In terms of the number of brands advertising on television, there is a 43% drop this year. There were 67 brands that advertised on TV in the first 19 matches versus 118 brands during the same period last year.

MUMBAI: With the second half of VIVO IPL 2021 underway, host broadcaster Star Sports has so far garnered 380* million viewers until match #35, 12* million higher than IPL 2020 at the same stage.  The TV viewer aggregation is in fact higher than the last three editions of the tournament, going back to 2018, as per data from ratings agency BARC Indian provided by the sportscaster.

MUMBAI: BARC India has transitioned from using the term ‘Impressions’ to ‘Average Minute Audience’, abbreviated as ‘AMA’, in cognizance with the Technical Committee. Data releases via the BARC India website for Week 47 (Saturday, November 21, 2020) onwards will reflect AMA. The change in terminology started reflecting on YUMI Analytics for BARC India subscribers from December 1 onwards.

MUMBAI: Indian Premier League 2020 saw 405 million viewers tuning in, and crossed the 400-billion miletsone in total viewing minutes, data released by Broadcast Audience Research Council India (BARC) indicates.  In terms of total viewing minutes, this is a 23% growth over IPL 2019, which recorded 326 billion viewing minutes on TV, Moneycontrol reports, quoting from the BARC data points.
