MUMBAI: Disney Star, official television broadcaster of TATA IPL, registered a cumulative reach of 307 million (30.7 crore) viewers for the first ten matches of the 2023 edition of world cricket's richest annual tournament, the network announced Thursday.  

The broadcaster further declared that it has garnered 23% more viewers compared to the previous IPL edition. This reach happens to be the second-highest ever in IPL history (other than IPL editions during Covid).

MUMBAI: The Karbonn Karnataka Premier League (KPL) seems to have benefited largely from its official broadcast partner, Star India’s strategy of making Kannada commentary available with select operators in the state. According to BARC India, the tournament has seen a 60% rise in viewership numbers for the first three matches of the competition that began on August 15 this year and will end on September 6.

NEW DELHI: Leveraging its audio watermarking technology and TV viewership measurement capabilities, BARC India has now launched out of home (OOH) TV viewership measurement.  With this, BARC India will now be able to report TV viewership that happens in social hot-spots like restaurants, pubs and bars in select cities.
