KL Rahul picks up stake in Ben Stokes' 4CAST venture

Indian cricketer KL Rahul has invested in English Test captain Ben Stokes’ entrepreneurial venture 4CAST that offers a corporate outlet for international athletes to prospect business opportunities both alongside their career as well as post-retirement.

Stokes co-founded 4CAST with England teammates Stuart Broad and Jofra Archer. 

Rahul will be leading its operations in the Indian subcontinent and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper explained that he readily agreed to come on board as a stakeholder when Stokes made the proposal.

IPL issues advisory to teams vying to bid for Stokes
MUMBAI: The advisory body of the Indian Premier League has announced that a team buying England all-rounder Ben Stokes would be entitled to hire his replacement in case he remains unavailable for the entire duration of IPL. However, if he misses only part of the event, the franchise won’t be eligible to seek his replacement.

Auction looming, IPL teams weigh portent of afray charge against Stokes
MUMBAI: The decision by UK's Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to charge England's star all rounder Ben Stokes with affray over a fight outside a Bristol nightclub last year has complicated matters for the IPL teams ahead of next weekend's player auctions.  The 26-year-old, named player of last year's IPL, and two men from Bristol are due to appear before magistrates at a future date.
