FORMER FERRARI TEAM PRINCIPAL Stefano Domenicali is reportedly set to replace Chase Carey as Formula 1's chief executive ahead of the start of next season.

As per the reports, Carey is set to remain involved in F1 beyond the end of the year in a revised position.

LONDON: Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey has provided another update on the latest situation with the 2020 F1 season in light of the coronavirus outbreak. Chase said:  "Over the past week, Formula 1, the ten F1 teams and the FIA have come together and taken rapid, decisive action as part of our initial response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

MONACO: For the first time since 1954, Monaco’s streets will not echo to the sound of F1 machinery after the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) announced the cancellation of this year’s Monaco Grand Prix. It had earlier been announced that the race had been postponed, along with the Dutch and Spanish Grands Prix, but the ACM have since clarified that “with great sadness” the race will be cancelled.

MOSCOW: FIA Formula One World Championship will still "be a glamorous" sports event even without grid girls at the start of each Grand Prix, F1 chief executive Chase Carey said on Tuesday. In late January, the management of Formula One announced its decision to shelve the tradition of models lining up on the starting grids before each race citing flak from the current social climate, reports Tass news agency.
