The Commonwealth Games Federation, the Andrews Labor Government and Commonwealth Games Australia Wednesday unveiled the full Sport Program for the Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games, featuring 20 sports and 26 disciplines, including nine fully integrated Para sports.

While Coastal Rowing, Golf, and BMX Racing will make a Commonwealth Games debut, 3x3 Basketball, 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball, Shooting, Shooting Para Sport, Mountain Bike Cross Country, Track Cycling and Para Cycling Track have been added.

LONDON: The Commonwealth Games Federation has approved a plan for a Commonwealth Archery and Shooting Championships to be held in Chandigarh in January 2022. It comes after neither sport was approved as an optional addition to the programme of the next Commonwealth Games, which is scheduled to take place from 27 July to 7 August 2022 in Birmingham, Great Britain.

LONDON: The Commonwealth Games Federation on Monday poured cold water on speculation doing the rounds that a Commonwealth Championship of shooting will be held in India during the 2022 Birmingham Games.   Talk of a CWG shooting championship had surfaced as a compromise solution to make up for the sport's axing from the multi-sport showpiece.
