BENGALURU: Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic and CSR arm of Infosys, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy to support the academy's talented players to compete and excel in various national and international sporting competitions. 

This partnership is aimed at nurturing promising badminton talent in the academy through an intensive training program with the goal of helping them become future medal contenders at prestigious sporting events such as the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.

LONDON: Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur announced Wednesday a renewal of its agreement with South Korea-based Kumho Tyre as the club’s official tyre partner for the next three seasons. Kumho was first associated with the Spurs in 2016.

NEW DELHI: With an aim to attract and retain the best coaches, Sports Authority of India (SAI) or Sports India has decided that a Comprehensive Coach Development Program will be initiated at all levels of coaching in the country, ANI reports. The decision was taken during the 51st governing body meeting of Sports India which was chaired by Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore.

MUMBAI: Ace shuttler PV Sindhu has been named the first brand ambassador of tyre maker Bridgestone India, a subsidiary of the world’s largest tyre and rubber company and a Worldwide Olympic Partner.
