NEW DELHI: Hero MotoSports Team Rally is all set to be a part of the 2021 edition of the Dakar - one of the toughest rallies in the world. 

Participating with a full-strength three-rider team, Hero MotoSports, which has just come of a win at the BAJA Portalegre, will take on the Dakar 2021 with the 2020 FIM Cross-Country BAJAs World Cup winner Sebastian Buhler, 2019 Pan Africa Rally winner Joaquim Rodrigues, and ace Indian rider CS Santosh.

MUMBAI: Lex Sportel has partnered with Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, for the exclusive broadcast of the Dakar Rally in India on DSport. Motorsports enthusiasts in India will now get a chance to catch a 30-minutes daily highlights package on DSport at 10.30 pm IST every day between 11-17 January as well as two weekly highlights.

PARIS: After 30 years in Africa and a decade in South America, a new chapter in the history of Dakar will be written as the world’s biggest rally makes its Middle East debut in Saudi Arabia next year. The Dakar Rally will be held in Saudi Arabia from 2020, organisers Amaury Sport Organisation announced Monday, confirming a five-year deal with the Saudi government.

The figure is three more than the previous all-time high set last year. However, a massive number of male competitors will continue to grace the event, which is set to exceed 500.
