EPL clubs ink agreement to take gambling ads off shirt fronts

The Premier League has reached agreement with the league's 20 clubs to ban "withdraw gambling sponsorship from the front of their matchday shirts".

The decision, annnounced Wednesday, makes Premier League the first sports league in the UK to take such a stand. As per the collective agreement, gambling companies that want to advertise with EPL clubs, will be limited to sponsorship on shirt sleeves.

Premier League announces start date of 2020/21 season
LONODN: Premier League shareholders Friday agreed to start the 2020/21 Premier League season on 12 September.  The final match round of the campaign will take place on 23 May 2021.  The Premier League will continue to consult The FA and EFL regarding the scheduling of all domestic competitions.
