MUMBAI: The timing is revealing. And protestations of anonymous cricket officials to Indian media notwithstanding, a day after UK's The Telegraph reported that the BCCI is yet to disburse the $500,000 runner-up prize money owed to the Indian team from the ICC Women's World T20 held in Australia in February-March last year, the richest cricket body in the world has assured that the pending dues will be cleared "very soon".

ANTIGUA: The International Cricket Council (ICC) teamed up with Cricket West Indies (CWI) to launch the ‘Mothers & Daughters coaching program’ in St John’s, Antigua ahead of the upcoming Women’s World T20 in the West Indies. The tournament will be played across Antigua, St Lucia and Guyana in November.
More than 100 participants were present at the launch of the program.

ANTIGUA: West Indies bowling legend Andy Roberts has been named as one of the ambassadors for the upcoming ICC Women’s World T20 2018 in the country. The 67-year-old is ranked among the best fast bowlers of all time and is a member of the ICC Hall of Fame. He will make several appearances to help promote the tournament, which will be played from 9 to 24 November.
