NEW DELHI: The opening season of Ultimate Kho Kho will roll out on Sunday, August 14 in Pune, where six teams will engage in action that will culminate with the title clash on September 4. 

India’s first-ever franchise-based professional kho-kho league will host its matches at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune.

7 host cities for Basketball Africa League inaugural season
DAKAR, Senegal: The Basketball Africa League (BAL) Thursday announced Cairo (Egypt), Dakar (Senegal), Lagos (Nigeria), Luanda (Angola), Rabat (Morocco) and either Monastir or Tunis (Tunisia) as the host cities where the inaugural BAL regular season will take place and Kigali (Rwanda) as the host city for the first-ever BAL Final Four and BAL Final.

Mind sports league series targets October debut
MUMBAI: To the leagues mushrooming here, there and everywhere, add one on mind sports.  Brain Duel Games Pvt Ltd, co-founded by Gaurav Gaggar and Kunal Lalani, Saturday launched a mind sports league series that features chess, rummy, e-gaming, poker and quiz, among others.  The inaugural season of the league series is scheduled for an October debut.
