NEW DELHI: The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) on Friday announced a 57-member Indian team for the year's first combined International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun stage, scheduled in New Delhi's Dr. Karni Singh Shooting range between, March 18 to 29.

The New Delhi World Cup will see as many as 30 finals being held at an ISSF World Cup stage for the first time with the new team formats approved by the ISSF last year coming into play, ANI reports.

NEW DELHI: As India is gearing up to host the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup, the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) is in touch with the world governing body with regard to the coronavirus pandemic. The ISSF World Cup is scheduled to be held in the national capital from March 15 to 26. As of now, the tournament is scheduled to take place as planned.

LONDON: The Commonwealth Games Federation on Monday poured cold water on speculation doing the rounds that a Commonwealth Championship of shooting will be held in India during the 2022 Birmingham Games.   Talk of a CWG shooting championship had surfaced as a compromise solution to make up for the sport's axing from the multi-sport showpiece.

NEW DELHI: The capital will be hosting next year’s International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Combined World Cup from March 15-26. The dates were finalised after the ISSF’s approval Monday, PTI reports. The Combined World Cup involves events in rifle, pistol and shotgun.

NEW DELHI: The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) has confirmed that the hosting rights for the World Cup 2020 have been awarded to India with the capital to host the event.  The decision was taken at the ISSF’s ongoing executive committee meeting in Vienna in the presence of National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) president, Raninder Singh. The event’s dates are expected to be finalised soon.
