MADRID: The International Tennis Federation (ITF) on Monday approved the move to a three-city format from 2021 Davis Cup and as a result, Innsbruck and Turin were confirmed as co-hosts for the finals following successful bids.

Each city will host two of the six groups and one quarter-final. Madrid Arena in the Casa de Campo will also host semi-finals and final.

MUMBAI: India is among 16 countries to have have confirmed participation for the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Junior Championship slated for January 18 to February 6, 2021 at the Kenyan capital's Nairobi Club. Some of the other countries expected to grace the three-week event include Turkey, France, South Africa, Great Britain, Italy, Belgium, France, USA, Denmark, Canada and Egypt.

MELBOURNE: The International Tennis Federation has announced three additional international sponsors for the Fed Cup by BNP Paribas final between Australia and France at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia on 9-10 November.  Accor, AVJennings and Sothys join the Fed Cup family of sponsors that includes title sponsor BNP Paribas and international sponsor Adecco.

The International Tennis Federation announced late Monday that the Asia-Oceania Davis Cup Group I tie between India and Pakistan, which was scheduled to be contested in Islamabad on November 29-30, will be played at a neutral venue.

NEW DELHI: India’s Davis Cup tie against Pakistan has now been rescheduled to take place in Islamabad on either November 29 and 30, or November 30 and December 1. The two-day Asia/Oceania Group 1 match-up will be subject to another security review before the tie, the All India Tennis Association (AITA) announed on Friday.

LAUSANNE: Taking cognisance of India's concerns, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) has postponed next month's Davis Cup Asia/ Oceania Group 1 away tie between India and hosts Pakistan. The ITF made the decision "following an in-depth security review of the current situation in Pakistan by independent expert security advisors". Islamabad was scheduled to host the tie on September 14 and 15.
