NEW DELHI: Finally someone has called out the elephant in the room. Over five years after the 2013 edition of the Indian Premier League was hit by a spot fixing and betting scandal that roiled Indian crisket, the Committee of Administrators (CoA) has suggested to the Supreme Court that nine cricketers named in Justice Mudgal Committee dossier, currently in a sealed envelope with the apex court, be revealed.
The Delhi police had arrested three cricketers - S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan - on the charges of spot-fixing at the time.
