Kerala flood relief

MUMBAI: As the floods recede in Kerala and the state's citizens pick up the pieces of shattered lives, football clubs and organisations across the world have expressed solidarity for the deluge-battered state. 

Liverpool FC, AS Roma, FC Barcelona, FC Girona, Melbourne City FC, LaLiga and are among those who have expressed solidarity and called out for help for the state.

Italian Serie A side AS Roma on Friday announced that it will auction off five match-worn shirts from the first team players to help raise funds for Kerala.

ROME: Serie A side AS Roma have become the latest sporting entity to extend its hand for supporting those affected by the Kerala floods disaster. The Italian football club confirmed the development on its official Twitter handle on Thursday in two tweets.

NEW DELHI: Team India will reportedly be donating their entire match fees earned for the third Test at Trent Bridge for Kerala flood relief.  While the amount is yet to be ascertained, PTI said the figure could be in the region of "Rs 20 million or more" while ABP News gave it as Rs 12.6 million.
