DIMAPUR: Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio on Saturday said that the state government will come out with a sports policy wherein various sporting disciplines suitable to the state youth will be identified and promoted, IANS reports.

"Even though Nagaland is the second senior-most state after Assam in the North-East, the Nagaland Olympic Association could get affiliated to the Indian Olympic Association in 2004, 41 years after the statehood," Rio was quoted as saying to IANS.
