National Inclusion Cup

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has continued with its CSR initiative in football by sponsoring the ‘SPN National Inclusion Cup 2019’ for the third year in a row.

It has tied up with Slum Soccer, the Mumbai-based NGO which aims at empowering underprivileged youth socially and economically through the game of football. The first-of-its-kind tournament took place from 13-17 February at the Mohammed Hussain Sports Ground in the city.

MUMBAI: The Kerala men’s team and the Chhattisgarh Women’s team today emerged victorious as champions of the 2018 National Inclusion Cup here. Kerala beat Vidarbha 8-3, while Chhattisgarh took the top honours beating Uttarakhand 5-3.

MUMBAI: Football focused NGO Slum Soccer kicked of the 2018 edition of its National Inclusion Cup here Tuesday at Tiger Play in Lokhandwala, Andheri West.  A total of 48 teams from various states across India and Nepal are participating in the men’s and women’s category of the league-cum-knockout format tournament that runs through till 23 February.
