LAHORE: Pepsico has extended its position as principal partner of Pakistan's men's national cricket team to the women’s national team as well with the announcement of a one-year agreement which was signed between the US beverages giant and Pakistan Cricket Board representatives at the PCB headquarters here Wednesday.

PCB director Commercial Babar Hamid and director Marketing Pepsico Ayesha Janjua were present at the announcement event.

MUMBAI: Pakistan’s invitation to the 27th edition of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup has been rescinded. The Star reports that Asian Hockey Federation chief executive officer Tayab Ikram and Perak Hockey Association secretary M Selvakumaran confirmed the rescindment on Thursday but no reasons were given for dropping Pakistan from the tournament.

MUMBAI: The ICC’s newly announced Test championship, that is scheduled to commence after the 2019 World Cup, will not include an India-Pakistan bilateral series. An Indian Express report says the ICC is not expected to slot any India-Pakistan Test series in the Future Tours Programme (FTP) draft that it is working on, pending the BCCI's reluctance to give a nod for ties between the two countries.
