June 22: The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA), constituted to run the All India Football Federation till such time as long-pending elections are held, has set up a 12-member advisory committee to oversee the functioning of the AIFF.

But just what exactly is the message that the CoA is sending out by naming Ranjit Bajaj, former owner of I-League club Minerva Punjab FC, and a trenchent and garrulous critic of the AIFF and its commercial partners Football Sports Development Ltd?

NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation has demanded that Ranjit Bajaj furnish evidence of the allegations of sexual harassment made against AIFF general secretary Kushal Das within 15 days, failing which action would be taken against the former owner of Minerva Punjab FC.

NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation has strongly refuted and vowed "appropriate legal action" against Ranjit Bajaj, former owner of Minerva Punjab FC, for what it asserts are "defamatory allegations" made on Tuesday against AIFF general secretary Kushal Das.  Bajaj on Monday alleged that Das had molested employees at work, a charge vehemently rejected by the national body.

NEW DELHI: Months after selling his family’s stake in Minerva FC, which had been rechristened Punjab FC, Ranjit Bajaj is back managing a football club.  The maverick administrator and his family have picked up a majority stake in Delhi Football Club, which is a top division club in the capital, Tribune India reports.

ROUNDGLASS SPORTS Private Limited is now reportedly the sole owner of I-League outfit Punjab Football Club (earlier Minerva Punjab FC) after buying out the 50% stake that is currently with original promoters Ranjit Bajaj and his spouse Henna Singh.   Bajaj and Ms Singh have resigned as the directors of Punjab FC, Goal reports.

CHANDIGARH: Minerva Punjab FC, the 2017-18 I-League champions, Tuesday announced a 50-50 merger with RoundGlass Sports Private Limited, another Punjab-based company focused on grassroots development of football. The merger allows RoundGlass Sports access to Minerva Punjab's players from the under-11 to under-18 teams. The partnership will also see RoundGlass Sports expand Minerva Punjab's grassroots programme.

Reason: The 2017-18 season I-League champions were informed that the Kalinga Stadium will not be available to host the home matches for the Chandigarh-based club as the facility is set to undergo renovation after the completion of the Super Cup.
