MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) Wednesday confirmed the extension of its partnership with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for the exclusive television and digital rights for six years until the year 2028 in India along with Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Maldives.

MUMBAI: The price may not be right but the very real possibility of being left without India cricket against any of the "major" countries for the foreseeable future looks to have forced the hand of Sony Pictures Networks India. SportzPower understands that SPN paid a premium to retain its rights to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) across the Indian subcontinent for six more years - 2023 to 2028.

MUMBAI: Australian media outfits have confirmed and fleshed out a Cricbuzz report that Disney Star has wrested back the Indian subcontinent territory television and digital broadcast rights of Cricket Australia (CA) from incumbent Sony Pictures Networks India.

MUMBAI: Star Sports has reportedly wrested back the media rights of Cricket Australia (CA) for the next four years.  As per Cricbuzz, the agreement, with a provision to extend the deal by four more years, has been signed by the parties.  Sony Pictures Networks India are the incumbent rights holders of Australia cricket in the Indian subcontinent.

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has acquired the media rights for the World Athletics Championships Oregon22, which is scheduled from July 15 to July 24, 2022, in Eugene, Oregon, United States.  Financial terms were not disclosed.
