MUMBAI: India’s home season media rights holder Star India is seeking a Rs 130 crore discount on its existing deal, the current cycle for which ends in March. While Team India jersey sponsor BYJU's, which wants an immediate out from its sponsorship agreement, has reportedly told the the BCCI to encash its bank guarantee worth an estimated Rs 140 crore.

The BCCI top brass deliberated on these two matters at the emergent meeting of the Indian cricket board's apex council on Monday, PTI reports. It was a virtual meeting.

DUBAI: The Men’s T20 World Cup will have two scheduled drinks breaks in each game, instead of the earlier practice of having just one, the International Cricket Council confirmed Sunday in a media release.  Each break will last for two minutes and 30 seconds and will be taken at the midpoint of each innings.

Manglik joined the Disney-owned network in 2014 from Network18, where his last posting was as general manager I.T. & Systems, CNBC TV18. The techie has a 17-year stint at Network18.

MUMBAI: New Zealand Cricket on Tuesday confirmed a four-month international winter schedule, incorporating tours to Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India, as well as the ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE. MUMBAI: Bangladesh territory media rights for international cricket hosted by the BCCI, as well as the remaining games for the ongoing 2020-21 season of the Premier League, have been secured by freshly minted sportscaster T Sports.  The media rights agreement was managed by Singapore-based digital rights marketplace Allrites, which sublicensed the rights from Star India.
