BUDAPEST: UEFA has adopted a “fan-first” ticketing policy for Euro 2020 with a record three million tickets available to supporters, European soccer’s governing body announced on Sunday.

Euro 2020 will be staged between 12 June and 12 July 2020 in 12 European cities: Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome and Saint Petersburg. These host cities include eight national capitals, and 11 venues with a stadium capacity in excess of 50,000.

TOKYO: The organising committee of the Tokyo 2020 Games made the ticketing prices for the marquee event public on Friday for all its events, barring surfing. Tickets will be made available outside of Japan through the National Olympic committee of the country or authorized ticket resellers mentioned on the Tokyo 2020 ticketing website, https://id.tokyo2020.jp/.
