LONDON: SportsTribal TV, a free ad-supported sports streaming service, offering a wide range of 24/7 sports-based entertainment channels from around the world, has confirmed a late 2020 launch. 

The new service will enable traditional and non-traditional sports rights owners, niche and micro-niche sports, social creators and sports storytellers to turn their video content into professionally managed, 24/7 streaming channels for fans, it was further announced.

ATLANTA: YuppTV, a leading video OTT platform for South Asian content, has acquired the digital streaming rights for BCCI Home Season 2019-20. YuppTV's rights cover all its users in continental Europe (non-exclusive), SAARC countries (except India), Central and South America, and Central Asia.   Cricket fans in the Middle-East region can also stream the Paytm South Africa tour of India on the YuppTV platform.

AIZAWL, Mizoram: SonyLIV, the video streaming service of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN), will telecast Season 8 of the Mizoram Premier League (MPL) on the national OTT platform. Season 8 of MPL kicked off on Thursday. Select matches of the MPL will be streamed live on SonyLIV. During the last seven seasons, MPL was televised on Zonet, a local cable channel, Northeast Now reports.

DORTMUND: Bundesliga heavyweights Borussia Dortmund announced on Tuesday that it will relaunching its OTT platform, BVB-TV, signing a new partnership deal with Swiss sports data and digital content solutions provider Sportradar.  Fans will be provided with a platform with free video content as well as a subscription service for premium content, which is accessible for 1.99 euros ($2.31) per month.
