WRC PROMOTER GmbH, commercial rights holders of the FIA World Rally Championship, has completed a multi-year agreement with sim racing hardware experts Fanatec to become the official partner of the WRC’s eSports activities.

Fanatec is the leading brand for sim racing hardware, including steering wheels, pedals and complete cockpits for PlayStation, Xbox and PC-based motorsport simulators.

NEW DELHI: Indian tyre major MRF has confirmed its much awaited entry into the FIA World Rally Championship-2 category with ace driver Gaurav Gill. The switch to WRC-2 ends MRF's 16-year campaign in the Asia Pacific Rally Championship where it won nine titles, including three with Gill.

GENEVA: Swiss watch brand Anonimo has added to its portfolio of motorsport partnerships with a new multi-year agreement as the official timekeeper of the FIA World Rally Championship starting with the 2018 season, which kicked off last weekend with the legendary Monte-Carlo rally, the first of 13 rounds this year (see below for full calendar).

BIRMINGHAM: WRC Promoter, the World Rally Championship’s commercial rights holder, has declared that for the first time in WRC’s history, every special stage from each round will be shown live.  Additional live coverage will include the opening and podium ceremonies, press conferences and driver autograph sessions.
