Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

MUMBAI: Kolkata and Ahmedabad will host the knockout stages of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) and Vijay Hazare Trophy, respectively, while two Irani Cup ties will be conducted over the next months, the BCCI has confirmed.

The BCCI is conducting a full-fledged domestic season for the first time since 2020.

SMAT, the domestic T20 event, will take place from October 11 to November 5 while the Vijay Hazare one-day competition will run from November 12 to December 2.

NEW DELHI: The BCCI has released a revised domestic schedule for the 2021-22 season, with the Ranji Trophy running from January 5 to March 20 in a a revamped format. The domestic schedule was released to affiliated state cricket units on Thursday, IANS reports.

MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has declared that the Indian domestic season will start from January 10 with the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament.  The teams will assemble in their bio-hubs on January 2 and the final is set to be played on January 31.
