NEW DELHI: Another season, the same request. And likely the same stonewalling from the world's richest cricket board. It is time the BCCI allows Indian Premier League teams to play exhibition games overseas in off-season as it will only strengthen what is already a strong product, Punjab Kings co-owner Ness Wadia has said.

Speaking to PTI, Wadia said constant innovation is the need of the hour in any business and he is confident that the BCCI will continue to break new barriers.

CHANDIGARH: Indian Premier League franchise Punjab Kings have joined forces with private entity Round Table India (RTI) and crowd funding platform ketto.org to help provide oxygen concentrators to COVID-19-affected patients. Punjab Kings will fund the procurement of oxygen concentrators, which will then be provided to patients for their use, a release from the IPL franchise said.

CHANDIGARH: Ahead of the IPL 2021 season, Punjab Kings have unveiled their new jersey. The franchise on Tuesday took to Twitter to give a view of the new jersey to their fans. The team, which has a new name (formerly known as Kings XI Punjab) and logo, would be hoping for a change in fortune in the upcoming season. Punjab Kings last managed to make it to the playoffs in 2014.

MUMBAI: Indian Premier League franchise Kings XI Punjab will reportedly be rechristened as Punjab Kings ahead of the upcoming edition of the IPL.  As per a report in Cricbuzz, which first reported on the name change, a formal communication has been made to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in this regard and necessary approvals have been obtained.
