LAUSANNE: The 82nd AGM of the Badminton World Federation was held virtually on Saturday, 22 May, with a record 158 Members attending and taking part in the meeting. 

A total of 15 proposals were voted on, and the elections for the BWF Council (2021 – 2025) were held.

Denmark’s Poul-Erik Høyer has been re-elected as president of the BWF, which has reported a loss of $9.82m (€8.05m) for the 2020 financial year due to the effects of Covid-19 on its events calendar.
