MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) bagged the exclusive media rights to broadcast Roland-Garros between 2022-24. 

The deal, spanning over three years, provides SPN with exclusive TV and digital rights of Roland-Garros. The broadcaster will televise Roland-Garros on its sports channels across India and the subcontinent including, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives, and will also be available to live-stream on their premium OTT platform, SonyLIV.

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (SPNI), the Indian indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, has quietly instituted a corporate name change. SPNI's official company name has been changed to Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited with effect from 20th April. Other than this change of name, absolutely nothing changes as far as the Sony Network brand identity is concerned.

MUMBAI: Eight to 12 months. That is the expected time frame for the proposed merger between Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (SPNI) and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (Zee) to be completed, assuming that all regulatory clearances go through.

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (SPNI) and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) Wednesday announced that they have signed definitive agreements to merge ZEEL with and into SPNI and combine their linear networks, digital assets, production operations and program libraries.

MUMBAI: Just under two months after SportzPower first reported on the development, Bundesliga International, a subsidiary of DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, Tuesday confirmed it has agreed to a two-year deal with Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) for exclusive media rights to broadcast the Bundesliga in India and the Indian Subcontinent.
