MUMBAI: A month after becoming the first cricketer to cross 100 million followers on social media, Virat Kohli on Wednesday surpassed 30 million followers on Twitter.

The run machine, who became the fastest to reach 11,000 ODI runs during India’s clash with Pakistan on Sunday, tweeted a video in which he can be seen awestruck, IANS reports.

The reaction of Kohli in the shared video is from India’s World Cup game against Australia when MS Dhoni hit Mitchell Starc for a six. Meanwhile, the India skipper also thanked everyone for the love and support.

MUMBAI: Indian captain Virat Kohli has become the first cricketer to have more than 100 million followers across various social media platforms. Kohli has 37 million followers on Facebook, 33.5 million followers on Instagram and 29.4 million followers on Twitter. With regards to Twitter, it is again Tendulkar who is "the next best", with 28 million followers.
