MUMBAI: GroupM India Friday announced the elevation of Vinit Karnik, Business head of GroupM’s Entertainment & Sports practice (ESP) to a new role of head – Sports, Esports and Entertainment, GroupM South Asia.
Alongside the announcement of Karnik's promotion, the portfolio of Karthik Nagarajan, chief content officer for Wavemaker India, was expanded, giving him additional charge as head of Branded Content, GroupM India.
In their new roles, Karnik and Nagarajan will both report in to Prasanth Kumar, CEO of GroupM South Asia.
