NEW YORK: American consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble has announced a multi-year, multi-faceted partnership with Major League Soccer.
The financial terms of the agreement were not made public, but CNBC reports that P&G will pay the North American league ‘$80 million to $100 million’ over a five-year period.
Consistent with its other major sports partnerships, P&G plans to not to just engage with fans, but also collaborate with MLS on efforts to support local communities and "increase equity in sports and society".
