MUMBAI: The Durand Cup, Asia’s oldest and the world’s third oldest tournament, is set to return after a gap of two years, thanks to the patronage of the Indian Army.

But the 129th edition of the tournament will be held in Kolkata, a shift from Delhi where it was primarily held, Sportskeeda reports. In an attempt to revive the century-old tournament, the Indian Army along with the three service chiefs will organise the Cup for the first time after 2016, in which the Army Green claimed the top honours.
