MUMBAI: Taking the cue given by Yuvraj Singh, who bid adieu to cricket on June 10, former Team India paceman Manpreet Gony announced his retirement from all forms of cricket organised by the BCCI at the weekend.
The announcement paves the way for the injury-plagued fast bowler to turn out for the Global T20 Canada League.
The Punjab paceman will partake in the second edition of the professional Twenty20 league while representing Toronto Nationals. Which incidentally, is the same team that Yuvraj has signed with to kick off his international innings.
